Gunnar Garfors is the Director of Development in NRK's Division of Developments. He has been overseing the development of various mobile services, including mobile TV and MMS videos on TV, both of which Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation was first in Europe to launch.

Garfors has held a number of presentations around the world on NRK's leading position on mobile services. He is originally a journalist, holding a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcasting from Falmouth College of Arts in the UK and a Master of Management from BI, Norwegian School of Management. The 30-year-old has been working in various media houses before joining NRK in 2000.
